Marguerite - - I only knew you for a short time but you influenced many, many lives especially mine. I will never forget you and Claude. We had many good conversations. I remember so how you both liked Mince Meat Pie. We would bring you 2 pieces and you would cut them in two to last longer. I miss you both as I do Peg. Love always. Bill McD.

Mrs Wilcox was my first grade teacher at old Central Elementary 1947. I was very shy and grew up on farms near Shelby. I remember her beautiful blonde hair pulled up on top. Her blue eyes just sparkled. I was hooked. She was friendly and yet she had a sterness you wouldn't want to pry. Sorry for her passing and yet by all human standards she lived a full life. For that we are greatfull and thankfull. She will be missed and remembered in time to come.

Dear Friends,
I was saddened to read that Mrs. Wilcox has made her transition. What a long and wonderful life she has had! I was a new teacher at Central Elementary in Shelby in the early 60's and she was a wonderful mentor to me. I always appreciated her positive remarks and pleasant manner. It was fun to have her visit my classroom.
May you be comforted by many happy memories and the love and support of your family and friends. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve this great loss.
Sincerely,
Ruth Ann Root, Mansfield, OH

April 4, 2012

We were sorry to learn of Marguerite's death. She was a faithful and involved member of the New Haven church when we were there from 1954 to 1960, and continued in her commitment throughout the years. We were happy to see her briefly when we returned to New Haven for a celebration of building improvements in recent years. We send our best to John and George and all the family.
