So sad to hear about Ms. Caiazzo. She was my PM kindergarten teacher in 1975. I can still smell the playdoh and remember how nice and beautiful she was as my teacher. May she rest in peace. She definately made a difference in my life.

I was saddened to hear today of Maria's passing. I'll always remember how fondly she spoke of her students and her love of teaching. Once she was so excited to teach them about the parts of the body, she even went to the butcher shop and brought into class a pig heart and liver and kidney, etc., so the kids could get a good idea of what was inside their bodies. She was a woman who truly put her heart and soul into teaching.

My prayers are with her family and loved ones. God bless you.

Maria and I were at ASU together. She would let me ride to Yuma with her on weekends and holidays. She was joyful, fun and generous. We saw each other through the years and she was always warm and friendly. I know you will miss her so much and she was so proud of you. May the knowledge that she will not be forgotten by her friends, students, coworkers console and strengthen you. My prayers are with you. Irene Moreno Montoya
