Maria Cox Obituary
Maria is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Charles "Chuck" Cox, her daughters Cristina Cox, Julie Cox Beattie (and husband Cesar Beattie), Elizabeth Cox, and Sara Cox, as well as her grandchildren Lauren Wielt, Jake Wielt, Savannah Young, and Jameson Beattie. She is also survived by her siblings Olga Medina and Alejandra Uribe.
Maria was preceded in death by her mother Julia Escobar, father Alejandro Uribe, and siblings Guadalupe Escobar, Margarita Andrade, Juanita Rivas Johnson, Veronica Uribe, and Graciela Alday.
A private ceremony will be held on Friday, June 21 in Del Rio, TX, to honor Maria's life. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or the American Liver Foundation.
Maria will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the impact she had on those around her. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew her.
