Maria Anna JAROCHOWSKI-DE KOSKO

I am sorry to have missed news of Maria's passing having just learned of it today. I met Maria about a year and a half before her passing, having driven her to her appointments a few times. I had great joy in meeting her. She was a gracious lady who had experienced much in life. She lived through the occupation of Germany during WWII and later the liberation by the USSR (she referred to it a the "so called liberation"). She was a walking history book and extremely interesting to listen to. She went on to educate herself and became a professor in a well established University. I could easily have driven her more times had the opportunity presented itself. I am grateful she shared a little of her early life with me. May she be in Peace.
