Maria Luz Mendoza Hann

Luz was a special gift to this earth. Her generosity, beautiful smile, kindness, joy and love touched the lives of everyone that she came across. Whether her own family or someone she passed on a walk or in a store. She loved sharing goodies to little ones during her travels too. She had a gift to make any child or adult alike smile. Luz was the best second mom I could of ever wished for. We could be doing simple things like watching football or Family Feud together and those little moments were so special to me. Just being together was my favorite. She accepted me as one of her own, with pure love. Something I will never be able to replace. Luz holds a special place in my heart forever and always and I will always be grateful for her kindness with me, my dad, and our family and friends. Our angel on earth is now our angel in heaven and we will continue to keep her alive in our hearts. I love you Luz, thank you for everything. Until we meet again. My condolences to her babies Patrick, Princess and Paulo. You mother was very dear to me. I glad I was able to see her and say my famous thing to her. Maria Liz Mendoza Hann. The lady that worked her magic will be missed. I will never forget her. She will be missed.

She has touch so many people life´s with her kindness, compassion and generosity.

Although not related by blood I will always think of her as family.

Deep condolences to Patrick, Paolo, Princess and all the family, may her memory be eternal.
Although losing our kind, compassionate, loving, energetic, and beautiful Luz she will always live on in my heart. I will forever be grateful for the wonderful times we shared together be it a simple walk at Norfolk Botanical Garden or a trip far away. Luz always made life fun. Her smile was the energy in my day, her love was the inspiration in all i did for us, and her kindness always made me love her more every day. Luz loved entertaining family and guests and always had way more food ready for all to enjoy. Luz was happiest when all the family was together enjoying food and laughter. Her stories were alive and wonderful whether it was a recent funny experience or one from her childhood experience in the Philippines. She embraced everyone she encounter with warmth and usually had a treat to give. Many Times Luz would encounter children in the grocery store and purchase a treat to give away just to see the child smile. She always expressed her love for children and animals. Especially our puppy Myla and our kitty Chase, both who are missing her dearly. Luz had a child like zest for life that was so rare and beautiful. I'll always remember how she would listen to her favorite songs by Air Supply and sing along while doing household tasks. And i'll never forget hearing her heartfelt bursts of laughter filling our home while watching Steve Harvey on Family Feud. I will always cherish the simple times we shared when I was doing the yard work as Luz was happy picking a basket full of fresh vegetables we grew together. There are so many more gifts my sweetheart Luz and I shared that will live on in my memory and Heart. I love you my darling may you rest in peace.

Ate Luz Hann is one of the nice and kindness person that I met in the Philippines when I am in my childhood, her personality look like
" mataray " but everybody doesn't know she had a good heart. I was remember at that time when we are in the Philippines I can say she became my tutor in my English assignment she told me when I need again her help don't hesitate to coming back to her. I am very shocked this morning when I see this photo that was post in Facebook. Rest in peace ate Luz Condolence to the family.

Luz's heart radiated love and kindness. She is part of our larger family and we had a surprise meeting, after I knew her, when she greeted me as I deplaned a Delta flight in LAX. The flight had been delayed and, as part of her job, she was greeting passengers with a smile and care as we arrived.

What a beautiful, kind soul. Her smile just lit up a room. Sending so much love.

I met Luz in the garden around the property I was renting. She always smiled at me when we met each other. I always think of her smile when thinking of her.
