Maria was one of a kind. She was kind, loyal, honest, caring, funny, smart, and very talented at anything she chose to undertake. We were so luck to have known her and spent time at family events with her. I know she will be missed by so many friends and all of her family. When I was a little girl, I always loved putting on Nena's high heels because her shoe size was a good fit and it made me feel fancy. She also would let me try on her beautiful wedding ring. Playing "dress up" with her things made me feel special (and classy, like her).
