When I got the call from my big sissy Cecelia, it was a huge stomach punch. My heart is breaking as I lived far away and did not get to spend much time with Maria. But the times that I had were precious to me. She was a beautiful lady with a huge heart for her family. My heart breaks for her husband and children and grandchildren. I know God will hold them all as they process how to live here without Maria. I remember getting a call from Maria (I believe it was God ordained) on a Saturday not long after my Bran passed in 2012. It was a call to help me thru a very dark time. Not sure what would have happened to me if Maria had not called me that day. She talked to me with soothing words for a long time. I thank God for that call. We all miss Maria so very much, but know that we will see her again some day. Hugs and prayers to the family until I take my last breath.

I had the pleasure of working with Maria for a very short time earlier tjos year. It deeply saddens me that we lost such a great lady too soon. Praying for this family at their time of need. She will be greatly missed.R.I.P sweet angel. Till we see each other again.

I can remember going to Drexel Jr. high. You were a couple yrs. ahead of Julie and myself, we would walk home from school to your house. And you were always the big sister that would watch after Julie. She was so proud of her big sister.

Maria was a very special person. I got to know her and her family several years ago. She was a hard worker and loved her family with all her heart. I haven't seen her in a while but even so I will miss her sweet smile and her contagious laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with her family in this time of need. May God place his arms around each of them and give them the peace they need to carry on. Until we meet again my friend. Love to the family.
