Maria Nazaré Palas

May 15, 1956 - April 26, 2025

With profound sadness and enduring love, we share the passing of Maria Nazaré Palas - a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother, and the heart of our family. Maria passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and unwavering love.

She radiated joy, strength, and compassion - whether through a conversation at the kitchen table or a lovingly prepared meal that brought everyone together.

Maria was the beloved wife of Americo Palas and the proud mother of three sons: Americo, Adam, and Alexander. Her family grew even richer with the arrival of her daughters-in-law - Yazmin, Christine, and Bonnie - who became the daughters she had always dreamed of. To Maria, they weren't just married into the family; they were family, bound by love, laughter, and shared memories.

She adored her grandchildren - Lyla, Gabriela, Evan, Luca, Oliver, and Piper - who were the light of her life and the inspiration behind her most joyful moments.

Maria also shared a deep and abiding bond with her brothers and sisters. Their connection remained strong across the miles and years, filled with devotion, laughter, and shared memories. She treasured her many nieces and nephews as if they were her own - cheering them on in life and wrapping them in her fierce and tender love.

Her kitchen was her sanctuary - the heart of every holiday and Sunday meal. It was where she healed, celebrated, and connected, always making sure everyone was fed in both body and soul.

Her legacy is stitched into every family recipe, every warm embrace, and every lesson she quietly taught through example.

Proudly, Maria uplifted relatives through kindness, cooking, unity, and food.

She will be missed deeply, remembered endlessly, and cherished forever.
