Maria Jose Silva

EAST PROVIDENCE – Silva, Maria Jose (Brum), age 63, of Wilmarth Ave., died at home, Monday afternoon, May 3, 2010. She was the wife of George Silva. Born in Flores, Azores, on March 19, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Inasio Machado and Maria Brum. In addition to her husband of 39 years, she leaves her daughter Sheri Silva of East Providence, her son Jeffrey Silva of Wakefield; her granddaughter, Eryanna Auclair; and many nieces and nephews in California and Canada. She was also the sister-in-law of Lucia Brum, Lourdes Brum, and Fatima Brum all of Canada, Fatima Avila of Seekonk, and Natalie Dicks, Lewis Silva and Steven Silva, all of Florida. Her funeral will begin Friday at 8am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am at St. Francis Xavier Church, No. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 5-8pm.
