Maria SPADA Obituary
Maria passed away on July 16, 2017 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by her husband Serafino; son-in-law Gabriele; sisters Fortunata, Rosina, Concettina, Savarina; brother Francesco and sister-in-law Giovanna. She is survived by her loving family; children Angela (Angelo) Papa, Leonora Castelli, Lena (Sal) Magliocchi, and Nanda (Carm) Zenone; 15 grandchildren Maria (Nick), Bruno (Marieann), Rino, Joe, John, Carmi, Robert (Tina), Danny, Frank (Daniela), Adrian, Steve, Pina (Leo), Anthony, Nick and Chris; 6 great-grandchildren Matteo, Talia, Marisol, Sebastian, Lucas and Ava; brothers Salvatore (Gloria), and Vittorio (Palma); brother-in-law Antonio (Serafina); sisters-in-law Felica and Maria as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 S. Slocan Street, Vancouver. Entombment to follow at the Abbey, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association would be appreciated. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.bellburnaby.com
