Maria Tetreault Obituary
Stella leaves a daughter, Jeanne Corliss, and her husband Michael; a son, David Tetreault, and his wife Deborah; two granddaughters, Melissa DeLorenzo and her husband, James, and Rebecca Beck and her husband, Brian; and six great-grandchildren Maeve, Josiah, Noah, Kessik, Ella and Lily.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Tetreault, and her son, Raymond Tetreault.
Calling hours are Thursday, February 25, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd in New Bedford.
The funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 26, at 10:00 A.M. at St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd, East Freetown. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery, 149 Dartmouth St, New Bedford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home, 200 Hawthorn St, New Bedford, MA, 02740. To send a tribute or for directions please visit: www.rock-funeralhome.com

Jeanne, Melissa, and Becky. I am so sorry for your loss. Auntie Stella was an amazing woman. She will be greatly missed. I am keeping all of you in my prayers.

Jeanne, Melissa and Becky- Rick, Michael and my thoughts and love are with you at this time. I will always think of Auntie Stella as someone with a gentle nature with a great sense of humor. My favorite story she told me was that when she was dating Uncle Dick he would walk her home and try to kiss her and she said no because her mother would see her lipstick was off. the next time they came back from a date, she again said no to a kiss (for the same reason) and Uncle Dick pulled out a lipstick tube of her exact shade...problem solved! May she and Dick now reunite and kiss as much as they desire (lipstick replacement no longer required!) Sending you all hugs and much love- Judy Cormier
