WISE, PHILIP L. 79, of Providence, passed away Thursday March 27, 2014. He was the husband of 59 years to Doris A. (Carneglia) Wise. Born in California he was the son of the late Kenneth and Aletha (Lomax) Wise. Mr. Wise was the Secretary for the former Clark & Coombs of Providence for 41 years until retiring. He was a past President of the Club Dominicana at St. Pius Church and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, James Wise of Smithfield, Mary T. Wise of North Providence, Kenneth V. Wise, Michaela Sprague and William Wise all of Providence and his six grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10am in St. Pius Church, Eaton St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
