Marian E. Hobson-Lutz

Marian E. Hobson-Lutz, 73, of Tinicum Township, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, PA. Born August 15, 1942 in Center Square, PA, Marian lived in Tinicum Township since 1947. She graduated from Palisades High School in 1960. Marian worked at Ma De's Chat Shop in Milford, NJ. She also worked at the Cornerstone Cafe in Frenchtown, NJ for many years. Marian and her companion Ben toured the country on their Honda Gold Wing locating and photographing the many sites of World War I statues entitled "Spirit of the American Doughboy." Marian was a member of the Mayflower Society. Daughter of the late Joseph Victor and Edith A. (McMaster) Hobson, Marian is survived by her daughter Karen L. Lutz of Tinicum Township, PA, her longtime companion Benjamin Burke, her brothers J. Victor Hobson, Jr. of Palau, D. Wayne Hobson of Tinicum Township, PA, and Arnold Hobson of Tinicum Township, PA, and her sister Joan A. Quinby of Tinicum Township, PA. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Eugene H. Lutz in 1984. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
