Very sad to learn of Marians passing.
She met her relative Barry Borris during a chance meeting in a audio store on East 57th Street.
Barry and I were invited for dinner during the Christmas holiday, many years ago, she was a gracious hostess made us feel very welcome. May you find comfort in knowing what a wonderful lady she was.

My sincere condolences to the Javits family. I have fond memories of growing up at 911 and our parents friendship. I reconnected with Marian about ten years ago and looked forward to our lunches. She was a lady filled with life and I will miss her.

Best regards, Andrea Girard

My sincerest condolences to the Family. Marian touched the life of everyone she met. She used to visit us in Houston where she had many friends. We were frequently her house guests in New York. She was fun and alive. Alas I did not see her much since the 90's. She will be missed. Riad Chehlaoui, Houston, Texas.

I am Leslie Rubensohn Moore, daughter of Herbert and Anne Rubensohn. I remember your mother so well from our days in Palm Beach, and your dad's tennis matches with my father (also with your uncle Ben). I remember your mother as very glamorous, as was my mother, and with a chuckle, I remember the only time I saw either of them in the lobby at Ethical, your mother and my mother were having a fight!
I hope your mother had a long and happy life. Kindest Regards, Leslie Moore (Rubensohn)
