When I was just a young girl Marian and my mother were our little brownie troop leaders. As a young girl I loved spending time at the Muir household. Marian was always so warm and welcoming. She always created a safe space for us. I admitted Marian thru the years as she cared for all her children. Kathy Liz and most of all drew! An amazing lady!

My first memory of Marian was of her beating me in the dash in 4th grade. I´ve never recovered. She was one of my oldest and dearest friends. Regardless of what like served her way Marian´s glass was always half full. May God bless her soul.

I was a classmate of Marian´s at Hospital of Universary of Pennsylvania.
We were friends at nursing school in the late 50´s. At our 50 th reunion from Penn,
A group of us from nursing school were invited to a friend´s home in Marco Island,
Florida. There were 11 of us. We were fortunate to meet every year after on Marco Island. It was very special that we were friends in our senior years. Our group of nursing school friends went to France. We took a barge trip through Burgundy.
Marian and I were room mates on the barge. We enjoyed getting along so well in a very tiny room. I was so saddened to hear of Marian´s passing. She was a friend to everyone, truly a special woman whom I shall never forget. Jane Brownley

Aunt Marion was one of the kindest, most generous souls I've ever met. Her gardens remind me of her. Such beauty! She chose perennials so that bees and birds could thrive. We definitely talked gardening & BOOKS! She was such an avid reader, and a good person to ask, "What good book are you reading currently?" She always had good picks. You were loved Aunt Marion...You are loved! May you prosper in your next endeavor. Peace to you.
