GILBERT MASSEY, age 88, passed away on July 10, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Kotwica); loving father of Laura (John), Kenny (Susan), Danny (Karen) and Joseph Massey; grandfather of 10; great-grandfather of 14; son of the late Stanley and Marion Massey (nee Berg); brother of Rick and the late Walter, Edward, Leonard, Helen and Jean Massey; proud member of Teamsters Local 436. Gilbert served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict, tending sea planes and boxing, which he enjoyed very much. He was an avid senior softball player, playing up to his 85th birthday. He won many awards and tournaments. Gilbert was witty and always quick to smile. He was a kind man and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside service with Military Honors will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, July 25, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.

Mr. Massey was the kindest DAD I knew growing up, his daughter Laura was my friend since kindergarten and he always took care of his family,Im so glad I got to see him at the polish picnic 2 years ago, may he Rest In Peace❤❤❤ Candy Buzanski Nowacki
