Marie J Carlson

Marie Jane Carlson age 37 of Fort Walton Beach was taken so tragically from this earth in October 2011. Born in the Philippines in 1974 Marie loved to sing Karaoke, work out and make jewelry. Marie had a Bachelor's degree and loved working in the field of Criminal Justice. She loved reading the bible and "Praying Without Ceasing" but most of all Marie loved her girls. She is survived by her mother, Florencia Bridges of Fort Walton Beach, FL; brothers, Randy Bridges of Mossy Head, FL and Ralph and Alex Bridges both of Houston, TX.; sisters, Pacita Merriman of Crestview, FL., Esta Bridges and Rose Bridges both of Fort Walton Beach, FL.; daughters, Paris Carlson of Bowling Green, KY and Grace Flanders of Cochise, AZ. Marie is also survived by her biological mother Nina Akesson of Sweden and her Ex-Husband Jeff Carlson of Kentucky. A Memorial Service to honor the Life of Marie will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home at 4 PM and the family will receive friends prior to the service at 3pm until service time. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Marie Carlson Memorial Fund at Eglin Federal Credit Union. Marie was a mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many and has been and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
