Marie Colbert Obituary
Marie Anne Colbert, 88, of Coral Springs, FL passed away on August 28, 2021. Marie was the quintessential family woman. A wife devoted to her husband, children and family.
Marie is survived by her two loving children, Hendrick Colbert and Glae Bontemps and her two youngest brothers, Jean and Antoine Lafontant.
She’s also survived by her son-in-law Dr. Jean Pierre Bontemps and daughters-in-law, Cassandra and Marcia Colbert.
Her grandchildren are Georges Eric Colbert, Jean Philippe Bontemps, Alexa Colbert, Dean Colbert, Cynthia Bontemps and Jean Pierre Bontemps Jr.
Her nieces and nephews are Mireille Céant, Magalie Bargeron, Paul Charles, Joelle Jasmin, Barbara Pyronneau, Ralph Lafontant, Yasmine Cine, Gucci Michel, Martine Cator, Djenane Lafontant, Marjorie Lafontant, Joane Telemaque, Gail Fay, Sasha Lafontant, Earl Lafontant, Luidji Lafontant, Mark Lafontant, Joyce Lafontant and countless cousins and close friends.
Marie’s faith in the Lord was unwavering and was the source of her amazing resilience. She will surely be missed by all. May she rest in peace by the grace of the Virgin Mary whom she adored.
