Marie Drais Obituary
Marie was born May 12, 1962, in Mankato, Minnesota to Dale and Sally Anderberg. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Marie moved to Atlanta where she met her soon-to-be husband, Peter Drais. The two were married on September 1, 1990, in Roswell, Georgia and later moved to Dallas, Texas where they lived happily for over 30 years.
Marie enjoyed spending time with friends, playing tennis, and family meals. She was known for her kind heart and generosity, always putting others before herself. Marie was an active participant within the community through volunteer work, her years as a special needs teacher, and involvement with the church. She will be missed by many.
The Funeral will be held at Hope Fellowship Church in Frisco (East Campus, 9950 Rolater Rd, Frisco, TX) on Saturday, August 3rd. Please arrive at 10:15AM for services beginning at 10:30.
