Marie Fierimonte-Catallo Obituary
Marie was a beloved figure in her community and an active member of Resurrection of Our Lord Church. Her passions included music, dance, shows and entertainment, reading and cooking, which brought joy not only to her but also to those around her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her siblings, Daniel (Elaine) Smaltini and Deanna Smaltini; her children, Rosemary and Bob, Dan and Melody, Carl and Laura, and Donna and Jeff; along with 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Margaret Smaltini; her first husband of 56 years, Michael Fierimonte, Jr and son, Michael Fierimonte III; her second husband of 10 years, Joseph Catallo; and her sisters, Margaret Smaltini, Dolores Emery, Johanna Morgan, Carmela DeCecco, and Lucille Harris.
A viewing will be held On Monday, November 11, 2024 at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 2000 Shelmire Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19152, at 9 AM followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19040, in memory of Marie. Her spirit and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
