MARIE HOLLERAN Obituary
Age 87, of Swissvale, formerly of Penn Hills, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Holleran; loving mother of Cindy (Tom) Kellner, Karen (William) Hough, Linda (Vincent "Jimmy") Satira, and Susan (Tom) Nee; devoted grandmother of Zachary (Jaclyn), Shannon, and Jason Satira and three Nee grandchildren; dear sister of Jean Smith, and the late Rita Halliwell, Joseph and Anthony Grieneisen; also survived by nephew, Leo (Donna) Joyce; and other nieces and nephews. Marie was active in her organ club, and enjoyed volunteering for many organizations including Asera Care Hospice, Pittsburgh Food Bank, various children ministries, and the Swissvale Senior Center. She also knitted children's sweaters and blankets for World Vision. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE / PLUM CHAPEL) corner of (445) Beatty Rd. and 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at St. John the Baptist Church at 9 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment to follow in Plum Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ASNC, Autism Society of North Carolina, 505 Oberlin Rd., Suite 230, Raleigh, NC 27605. An Intention Mass will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Swissvale Towers in the Community Room for anyone unable to make mass on Friday.
