Marie Jones

Marie Jones, aged 39, passed away on August 11, 2024, in Prescott, AZ. Born on August 19, 1984, in Manhattan,New York. Marie was a beloved figure known for her vibrant personality and generous heart. She dedicated many years to Marriot SpringHill Suites as a front desk associate, where her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on guests and colleagues alike.

Marie was an amazing mother to her two children, Julian and Afton, and shared a special bond with her twin sister, Sylvia Pollock. Cory M., the father of her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beverly and Albert Jones, as well as her biological father, James Myers.

An outdoor enthusiast, Marie enjoyed hiking, swimming, and taking nature walks, often accompanied by friends and family. Her love for cooking and hosting gatherings was well-known, bringing joy and delicious meals to those around her. Marie's presence was a light in the lives of many, and her absence will be deeply felt.

Marie's educational journey began at Park Meadows Elementary School and culminated at Barry Goldwater High School, laying a
foundation for her future endeavors and friendships.

A memorial service to celebrate Marie's life will be held in California. Advanced Cremation in Prescott, AZ, is assisting the family during this time.

Marie is survived by her loving children, Julian and Afton Jones; her twin sister, Sylvia Pollock; and Cory M. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness and the deep impact one person can have on a community. She will be remembered fondly and missed greatly.
