I knew Marie Little through Women in Communications. She was a great member for many years. I will miss her stories and seeing her at meetings. She was very special.

My daughter and I went to the Matrix dinner with Marie, which is an annual event for women in Comminication. We were not surprise that everyone in attendance knew and respected her. Marie drove however and it took us an hour and a half to get to Seattle. From then on I drove. On occasion when Marie was writing an article she would be on my doorstep to "interview" me. This time it was about Sno-King Drive In Movie and I asked her if she couldn't find anyone else to interview and she sweetly reply she didn't feel the need to because I was just next door and she could always drag something printable and unprintable from me. I will miss Marie more than I can say. I really loved her.

Dear Little Family: I have been so honored to know Warren and Marie along with Brett and Dawn and Brittney. Marie was such a great person to know, so much strength and grace. Both Marie and I, attended Meany Jr Hi in Seattle...what are the odd of that? I got such a kick out of Marie's sense of humor, and the dignity she showed towards history, and her obvious love for her family. Rest in Peace, Marie!
Fondly, Anne-Marie Hastings, Bothell

When I first met Marie, I was already familiar with her name, having regularly read articles about her extensive involvement in the community, especially the early history.
We met each other regularly on morning walks through Stonebridge. She had slowed a little the last couple of years but was still tackling the big hill in the back of the complex. Her smile and friendly chit-chat will be greatly missed. The community has lost a true treasure.

Marie was such a kind generous woman. I worked with her for 6 years as a volunteer on the Women's Legacy Project of Snohomish Co. and am so fortunate to have known her. It is a great loss to the community as well as the family.
