Marie was my cousin and although I did not know her well, we were beginning to form a relationship. I will always be grateful to her for providing the variuos links and websites she used while researching the Whitson family. Rest in peace Marie.

I also grew up and attended school with Marie and remember her as a gentle soul. Sadly lost touch and am very sad to hear of her passing at such a young age. My condolences to Marie's family.

I grew up with, and attended Mayerthorpe High School with Marie. As the MHS class of 68 has been reconnecting through social media sites, Marie has been on my mind a lot lately. I have also wondering where she had gotten to and how she had fared in life. At our last class reunion in 1988 our group vowed to have a 2nd reunion but regrettably, that never happened and most of have lost touch and have grown apart. I am deeply sorry for the loss of another classmate and friend! May Marie have eternal Peace.

Remembering Marie, an exceptional student in my classes...For many years I wondered where Marie had moved, whom she had married, whether she had a family and hoping our paths would cross some day. So sorry... With my sympathy and prayers to Marie's family. May Marie Rest In Peace.

FAMILY SEARCH LED ME TO THIS WONDERFUL LADY WHOSE INTEREST IN OUR FAMILY GENEALOGY WAS ALL CONSUMING AND THE CONNECTION MADE WAS VERY REWARDING. MY FAMILY NOW IS AWARE OF THE RICH HERITAGE WE SHARE WITH THE CANADIAN PART OF OUR FAMILY. WE SHARE IN THE FAMILY GRIEF AND OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH MARIE' FAMILY

I am so sorry to hear of Marie's passing. I met her through our mutual genealogy family searches. Words cannot express how welcoming and helpful she was. We had many informative discussions about our families, (and lots of laughs) and I will forever be grateful for her help and support. I regret that I never had the chance to meet her in person. We are coming to Alberta in June and I was looking forward to giving her a big hug in person! My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. Love Sherry
