(nee Palazzo)
Passed away peacefully on September 4, 2013 at Huron Lodge surrounded by her loving family at the age of 89. Beloved wife of Vittorio (1991). Loving and devoted mother to Guy (2006) and surviving wife Judy Spadafora of Amherstburg, Jack Genaro and wife Nina Spadafora, Nancy and husband Joseph DeMarco; all of Windsor. Cherished Nonna to Jennifer (Dan McGuire), Jason, Krista (Dino Spagnuolo), Daniel Victor, Gia (Ivan Horvath), Joey (Seanna Pahomey). Dear sister of the late Virginia Corona. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marietta retired from Adler's Bakery after 25 years of dedicated service. Visitation at

on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 2 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Italian Canadian Handi-Capable Association or Alzheimers Society of Windsor-Essex. Deepest sympathy to the Spadafora Family on the loss of your Mother & Grandmother. When living on Moy we shared many a story about family, friends and "the neighbourhood." The tomatoes from her garden were the best !
