Marilyn Jean BABIN

December 10, 1938 - February 5, 2021 Peacefully and confidently, Marilyn passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021, surrounded by the love of family. Predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Reginald Babin of Bathurst NB, and brother Owen Lawrence. Loving mother of Rev. Phil Wilson (Jennifer), grandmother of Andrew, Kyra, and Taylor. She will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, Aunt Shirley and dear friend Marie Louise Boucher. After a career as a Data Entry Operator in Oshawa, Marilyn and Reg moved to Bathurst where she established new roots until moving back to Ontario in 2018. Marilyn was a woman of independence, courage, and faith. Her faith gave her the confidence and comfort that she was going to be reunited with Reg, continuing their love story, and Jesus. Marilyn wished to express her appreciation to Stephanie DeLine of the South East Local Health Integration Network, Dr. Hagarty, and Dr. McLean for their continued support and care. Interment to be held at Mount Lawn Cemetery in Whitby at a later date.
