I had the fortune of knowing Marilyn in high school (Columbia High School, Decatur, GA class of 71). Marilyn was smart, energetic, friendly, and very popular. I shared many classes with her freshman-senior years. Also got to see her cheer, as I was in the band and got to attend all the football and basketball games. She will be sorely missed by all who remember her.

Marilyn and I were college roommates at the University of Georgia. I have so many special memories of our time at UGA. May God bless Brittany, and give her strength and courage and loss of her beloved mother.

I met Marilyn at the Mountain Laurel Tennis Club in Highlands and we became friends. We would play rummicub and have dinner. I truly had so much fun with her. Brittany-you are the love of her life. She was so proud of you I am so sorry

Brittany, Barbara, Lori, Dave - I am so very sorry for your loss!!! Your Mom/sister was an absolute treasure and made such a significant impact on my life when she hired me at CHS. She was a talented, kind and generous person that I know will be monumentally missed. Lifting your families up in prayer during this difficult time.
