Jim, Caithlin and Alyssa, our most sincere condolences. We are with you in prayers and thoughts in these difficult moments.

We have had the privilege to be touch by Marilyn's cheerfulness, energy and kindness in Melbourne. She made our 3 years there a pleasant experience. We were fortunate on many occasions to see her in Jim's company when passing through Ottawa. We will miss her greatly.

It was inspiring visiting with Marilyn Feir. Even when sick, she was generous in giving of herself to help with knitting. She was a perfectionist to the end. May God reward her abundantly.

Memories of Marilyn visiting Mustard Seed and starting the Nifty Knitters came when I heard the news of her death. We were hopeful that she would be coming back after her treatment; but we have a patron saint now of a flourishing community of knitters. My prayerful sympathy for all of you who are missing her. I'm sorry I can't be at the memorial Fri.--at my home parish--but I have a commitment. Sister Gwen Smith.

Marilyn was a beautiful person who saw the best in everyone. I feel privileged to have been called a friend. I only wish I had met her long before I did.
