I am shocked and so sorry to hear this sad news. Please accept my deepest condolences. Mimi was the sweetest and gentlest person I've ever met.
We met when our children were young. We were friends till she moved to Michigan. We stayed in touch via her mom who was my pastor and friend and her sister Joy. Always loved when she visited family in PA. I usually got to visit with her as well.
We cared for her mom together during her mom's last days. While it was a difficult time, it was also a special time together.
Marilyn (Mimi) exuded the love of Christ. You always felt peaceful around her. That peace and God's presence followed her wherever she went.
She is reunited with her mom and sister and we'll see her again in the presence of the Lord.
May our Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit comfort the whole family during this time of mourning and deep grief.
Marilyn has entered her well deserved rest.

I remember the kids when they were smaller and at all church services, they were much younger than my two kids. How I will miss her warm and endearing self and smiles, she was a beautiful soul a loving friend in Jesus, Will see you in paradise dear Marilyn. Beth Saelens.

While I did not know Marilyn extremely well, I did have a chance to get acquainted with her through Hooks & Needles at the Taylor Community Library. I will remember her friendly spirit and her willingness to help those around her. Her contributions to this group included conversation, stitching advice when asked for, practical & helpful thoughts about our holiday donations, and stitched items she donated. We also got to know Annie and celebrate her new baby. Marilyn will certainly be missed. While I did not see her in a faith-oriented environment, I could see her faith in her outlook and her attitude to those around her.
