David,
Marilyn was the favorite of all my Novato friends. She kept in touch with me after I moved and planed a luncheon last fall for several of us to get together. The lunch was in your beautiful addition. I wasn't aware of her extensive cookbook collection. However, I knew she like to cook. She was a very gracious hostess. I met Marilyn when my family moved to Novato in the early seventies. We were members of the Hostess Club. I loved seeing all the photos. She was so beautiful. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Dear Dave and Hooper Family;
My heart goes out to you with the loss of Marilyn. She was my secretary when I returned to the Marin County Parks and Open Space Department in 1999. A lovely lady who in her clear and quiet way helped the department and my career immensely. As an ex-New Zealander I enjoyed giving her tips for her memorable trip to that country. I was guided through my own career-ending work and retirement by her helpful tips always in her sincere and pleasant manner. I am sad I won't get to enjoy her company at retirement luncheons. God bless Marilyn and the Hooper family all.

Dear Dave and Family,
I was very saddened when I just heard of Marilyn's passing. She was a client for many years and always a pleasure. She shared stories about your many travels which I know meant so much to the both of you. I admire her strength and courage that she had up to the end. I know she will be missed by all who knew her.

Dear Dave and Family,
It was a privilege to know Marilyn as a warm, wonderful, friend and co worker. She was gracious, kind, helpful and full of fun. She and I and Betty Stobba would reminisce over lunch about our experiences at CTC. It was always a joy to spend time with Marilyn. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I congratulate you and Marilyn on your 50th Anniversary. Yor devotion to one another was an inspiration. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you, Dave and your beautiful family.
With love,
Anne Wooliever
