Scott, Kim and Kari
I have such wonderful memories of all of you and your family. When we were all kids together on Vashon, your mom would sweep me up into your home there on the beach like I belonged there. As a result, I adored your mom. She was an angel. I am so sorry for your loss.

My sincere sympathy to your family. May the God of all comfort be with your family in your time of grief.

Scott, Kim, Kari, Your Mom will shine through all persons that knew her and loved her. Aunt Marilyn would light up a room with the twinkle in her eyes, her smile and the great hugs. Our lives have been deeply blessed by Aunt Marilyn.
With love to each of you and your families.

I knew Marilyn from my volunteer time at Pioneer Home. She always was eager to give me a hug and sweet smile. Her soft giggle will always stay warm in my heart.

We just got back to Juneau and learned that your sweet mother had passed. I was saddened to read this. Knowing the woman she was, I know for certain she is now living in Heaven with our Lord Jesus and God the Father. Your family is on my prayer list for comfort and guidance from our Lord and Savior.

Marilyn was a prayer warrior for me as I dealt with a difficult time in my life. She was one of the wise, older women I looked to as a role model. Her warmth and support was a foundation I built my second, successful marriage upon. Phillip and I count her as such a blessing in our lives. I hope that your memories of her will comfort you in the days ahead.

Kim, I knew your mom from the Pioneers' Home. My mom, Beth Miller, spent almost two years in their care and died in April, 2017. We had a memorial service for her at the Pioneers' Home and Marilyn sat next to me and held my hand. The next time I saw her, she hugged me and looked at me with great empathy. It was a privilege knowing her. Alzheimer's took away a lot, but her loving heart was still there. My condolences to you and your family

Dear Kim, Kari and family, we remember both Rick and Marilyn with such fond love and many special memories of our frequent meals and visits, Bible studies and celebrations. My (Christie's) last visit with Marilyn was at the Pioneer Home. We spoke of our incredible trip together to Israel and Europe. Marilyn had such a sweet smile and I know she knew me as we hugged goodbye. Our love and prayers are with all of you. Thanks for this opportunity to share.
