Marilyn was a dear friend for years. She was a teacher in Cleveland and an usher with me at Playhouse Square for many years. I will miss her humor and sweet disposition! Love you, Marilyn!

I had Mrs. Mars for typing in about 8th grade. The class was always fun and outgoing. She was a lot of fun.

So sorry about Marilyn..she will be missed. She always entertained us when we came to Ohio...and of course my mother was always ready to go with her...I know that all of you Rassie's will miss her...but she had a good long life. RIP Marilyn

So sad to hear the news. We had so many wonderful memories--trips to NYC, LHS luncheon reunions, ushering at Playhouse Square, summer visits to the Islands, and many visits just to chat. I considered her a great friend and she had a special place in my heart.

To all my relatives, those I do know and those I do not know, my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one, my first cousin. Marilyn was the leader of the pack - setting a wonderful example of a Mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, friend. Seems that nothing slowed her down. I know she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. God bless the Rassie clan! Love and prayers. Georgia from Mississippi.

Reading this tribute reminds me of meeting Marilyn when she and her sisters were staying in NY at the Salisbury Hotel on 57th. They were there for fun and Broadway, and what a time they all had! She was so outgoing, lots of fun and a terrific sense of humor; she could hold the room with her wit and enthusiasm. I liked her immediately and was glad I got to see her several times after that. She was the epitome of the Rassie energy and great spirit. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Please know that my thoughts are with you all during this sad time. What a beautiful tribute to your mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law, cousin, teacher, and everything else she was to so many! It's such a great picture of her. That's how I will always remember her--my sweet, vivacious cousin. I like to think she and I had a special relationship. My mother had a special one with her, too. They were kindred spirits, I believe. She will be so missed and I'm so glad for the many visits we had with each other all during the years. Marilyn, may you Rest in Peace.
Your Southern/Mississippi Cousin, Betty Jo

Dear Jackie and Rassie Family,
Buster and I are so sorry for your troubles. Something about losing a sibling that just seems wrong, but what a great sister you are and a grand family you have! Keep her stories alive for the young ones and they will keep her spirit alive! Know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Safe home Marilyn, safe home.
Love to you all,
-eileen
