Marilyn was a wonderful educator, author and person. She was my
accounting teacher at a Waubonsee evening class many years ago
and she was a REAL teacher. Whenever we met, we always had
great conversations. She was such an asset to Batavia and will be
missed by many.

I recently finished reading your wonderful book, Little Town in a Big Woods. You signed that book for me over a decade ago. I also enjoyed listening to you speak. Thank you for all you did; especially for the children of Batavia, IL

Thanks, Marilyn, for your leadership at Georgetown on the condo board. As first board president, your attention for detail and thoroughness helped set the tone for those of us that followed you. I know from my experience with you, and the many kind things said by many people that you were one amazing teacher. Your lessons will live on for many generations to follow. Thank you!
