Marilyn had a big heart for the kids at Crockett Elementary. She formed a special bond with my oldest child when he attended kindergarten there, always bringing him little gifts, toys and trinkets. She always gave him a big hug every morning. She will be missed.

Mom has always despised the color pink. So when she started to get granddaughters she told them they couldn't wear pink to her house because she was allergic. And if they wore it to her house and touched her while wearing pink that it would send her to the hospital. So it became a cat and mouse chase game everytime my kids would go to grandma's because they had to wear pink so they could chase mom in and out of the house and across the yard.

Fun memory of mom. She has always hated the color pink. When grandkids started to be born she would tell them she was allergic to pink and that if they touched her while wearing pink that they would send her to the hospital. So all the granddaughters would purposely wear pink when they would go to grandma's so they could chase her with pink on!
