Dear Cynthia and Rich,
What fond memories I have of your Mother..........beginning with the neighborhood, and as my friend's Mother.............to being my Brownie Leader. In the not-too-distant past, I would bump into her at some of the Art Exhibits around town and even on one of the trips to the Philadelphia Museum. And, of course, I would make a point of poking my head in to the children's department just to say "Hello!" when I was at the Back Mountain Library. I cherish the thoughts of bobbing apple's at your house on Halloween and I still have the signed picture from Margaret Hamilton (aka the Wicked Witch of the West) who I met when she was in town visiting your Mother. Your Mother always had a way of making things fun, interesting, and special. She will always be one of my favorite people. Kindly accept my condolences. Most sincerely, Alyson

My Love and Sincere Sympathy to all the Rudolph Family at this sad time of your Mother´s passing. I taught Kindergarten and Third grade at the "Boro" (which is now the Dallas Library) and Mrs. Rudolph was caring for Library patrons and children of the Dallas School District at a separate house (before there was a central Library). The children and I walked to the site and she always had wonderful books ready for selection by the children. Plus the youngsters always enjoyed the walk to get their books ! Her pleasant manner, smiles and great kindness to all of us was a delight. She always arranged a grouping of books that fit with the classroom unit being taught.
What a privilege it was to meet with her and her books. There is no telling how those special books and Mrs. Rudolph may have influenced the children as they moved along their life´s path. The children loved Mrs. Rudolph and she loved them too !
May your sweet memories comfort all of you. Lovingly.
