I was saddened today to hear of the passing of Mrs. Blackaby. She was always a safe harbour in the middle of life's storms. Thank you Mrs. Blackaby. My Brothers I am so sorry for your loss.

During a confusing time of my life, Marilynn shared with me things she had learned in a similar situation!! She didn’t have to tell me all that, but it propelled me to keep seeking freedom from a very difficult situation. About 20 years later now, I’m living my best life ever!!! She & Brother Henry first introduced me to the truth that Jesus is a Real Personnot just a nice idea in an old book!!! My life was so positively impacted by them both!!! I’m so sad for all her kids & Brother Henry that she’s gonebut boy!! Did she ever leave her mark!!! Loved her to bits!!! ❤❤❤ A very grateful Arkansas girl!!!

Blackaby Family, I have just watched by streaming the Celebration of Marilyn’s life. What a testimony of God’s great love. She will be missed by the family and JFBC. I do know that Heaven is now more joyful with that great big smile that is Marilyn Blackaby. My heartfelt sympathy to Henry. I am a former member of JFBC.

My sincere condolences to the Blackaby family on the transitioning of Marylin. I sat next to Marilyn during many choir practice at the RHBC Canada . I depended on her to keep me on key....She will be missed!

Proverbs 31:5,6 beautifully describes this grace filled woman of God. "Strength and Dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness in on her tongue." Marilynn, in her soft and delightful manner, impacted my life especially in the way she raised her family to know and love Christ, as well as her respectful way she honored her husband at the deepest and most joyful measure. I love you Marilynn...you are now in the Presence of your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

We are praying for God's abundant grace and mercy for your family in the loss of Marilynn. We already miss speaking with her on Sundays after church. Even though she will be missed so much here, it is such a blessing to know she is whole and in the arms of her Savior.

When you were in the Blackaby Home you were family. Marilynn always worked to give people a place in God's Kingdom and a place at the family table.

May God bless those who hold her dear.

Although it is hard to see your loving mother, mother in love, grandmother and great grandmother departed, may you all find comfort in knowing today that Miss Marilyn is experiencing what we all long for: being in the presence of her dear Savior Jesus.

I enjoyed the hearing about her incredible life when she share her book with us at First Baptist of Jonesboro. It was very down to earth and very relatable. She is now home with her Father in heaven and He has said, “Well Done.”

We were so very blessed to have the chance to meet Marilyn in 2014 as part of a medical mission team from First Baptist Jonesboro and First Baptist Round Rock, Texas. This mission trip was to Betty Memorial Institution located in Liberia, W. Africa. We pray for God's peace and comfort for all the family and friends in the coming days.

In His Love,
