Marion Crow

Dear Family,

I'll remember Marion from the Crow Reunions...the early ones from 50s to 80s. I felt we were kindred spirits because our voices "carried". In other words, we were both loud. My mother, Shirley Hebel Gartley, Marion's first cousin tried unsuccessfully to sush me.

Marion had a good time at these reunions. She was genuine and friendly, catching up on the latest family news. I'll never forget her wide smile and her laugh, which was distinctive.

I know that the many happy memories of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother will sustain you in the days to come. May God comfort you and give you strength.

I can see the huge reunion with family member in heaven and what a time they will all have!

I met Marion at the Mulberry Church Senior Center where she participated in the Bible Study, Prayer Group, and other activities. I admired the way she would drive all the way to Wilkinsburg, even in bad weather and despite her years, to serve as a willing child of God. We shall miss her loving smile and quiet, kindly ways. May God bless all of you.

ours to have served with Marion
when we were a part of the
Christian Women's Association
of the Allegheny County Jail
ministering to the incarcerated
women quite a number of years
ago.

Marion was always very gracious
and so full of life and joy. We
will always remember her bubbly
smile.

continue to surround you with His
many blessings and give you all the
comfort, peace and strength that
you need in the days ahead.
