Sending our deepest sympathies to you and your families.
Marion and Mom (Rose Marie Kullman) have been friends dating back to the original Hope Lutheran main church. Okay, maybe not that long.
Mom used to tell me that Marion, Ann Gullikson, and her had started the first Mom's Group (when it wasn't cool) as they would stay late after Bible Study cleaning up and visiting. Each having 6 children, various sewing interests, and a strong faith I'm sure they had plenty to talk about.
On a few occasions they would have lunch at each others home or coffee. My Mom spoke of seeing Marion's beautiful quilts she's made. I was able to see these myself one day-what a gift she had, all made with love, and such beautiful details. She showed me various albums she had made of her work over the years.
As the years past, your Mom would pick my Mom up weekly for church and grocery shopping. Neither cared for the "new and bigger" Mega foods. They would return and sit in the driveway chatting about this or that.
This picture was taken on February 29, 2020 when Mary and Nancy brought Marion over to visit my Mom on her birthday. Marion was about to leave and Mom got up to give her a hug. They looked into each other's eyes and you could see my Mom light up with a big smile and she remembered, her friend, Marion.
Your Mom had such a gracious heart, a deep love of her family, and life itself. She was a faithful servant to our Lord, she will be missed greatly and her warm smile forever in my mind. She loved it when you all would get away to spend time up north with each other. She spoke of those times with a smile.
Treasure your memories and hold them dear. Lean on the Lord, family and friends during this time of grief.

Sincerely,
Julie (Kullman) Gabris
