It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Saad Jazzar, at the age of 90. She passed away peacefully at Chateau Westmount on November 3rd , 2012. Marion will reunite with "the love of her life" for 67 years, her late husband Raymond Jazzar who passed away earlier this year on June 12, 2012.
She will be deeply missed by her loving daughters Donna, Carol and Deborah, her son-in-law Christian Coury, her most cherished grandson Alexander, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Canada and the United States.
Marion was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose kindness, generosity and positive attitude towards life brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a loyal friend to many. She worked tirelessly for her church and served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church for seven terms (1972-1974, 1978, 1984-85, 1988). She also served as Vice President of the St. Nicholas Church Board of Directors (1988-89).
The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Town of Mount Royal, on Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on November 9th, 2012 at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna Street, Worcester, Massachusetts at 11:00 a.m. with viewing from 10:00 a.m. Burial to take place at Hope Cemetery, Worcester, Massachusetts.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, Montreal or to St. George Orthodox Cathedral, Worcester.
