Oh my gosh...I am so very sorry to hear of this!!! I have been thinking so much about her, as I'm taking a sign language class in Northbrook. I go past Ellen Drive; Kingswood United Methodist Church; and Buffalo Grove High School. So very many great memories. I got hacked on my Facebook account a few years ago, and never started another one. I Googled the Lamberts to get their address in AZ, and I came across Mrs. Lambert's obituary.
I have so many wonderful memories of her. She was so cool, and very much much fun! She always made me feel welcome in your house on Ellen Drive.
How very like her to die on Todd's birthday so that she could go celebrate with him.
I wish I could see both of them one more time. They both touched my life greatly.
My love and condolences to Mr. Lambert, Lori, and Jeff (and your spouses and kids). You guys were always such a cool family, and if I had been wiser, I would have been a part of it.
RIP, Mrs. Lambert... you were very loved.

We were neighbors of Hank and Marion in Tucson. What fun times we had just visiting with our friends and dogs. When we moved in to the house next to theirs, The first thing Marion asked was, "Do you like dogs?".
My husband, Mark, would make our dogs and their dogs dog cookies out of pumpkin. He would bring them over to their house. The next thing you know, Marion would call to say the cookies were great! Mark would have to remind her "Those are for the dogs!" She would eat them also! We would laugh every time!
We will miss our very special friend.
Love,
Mark and Sandy

Dear Hank, Lori and Jeff,
We are both so very sorry about Marian. We will remember her kind heart, her wonderful laugh, and how much she loved her dogs and she was so kind to others. May your tears be replaced by a smile with fond memories of her with time. Our heart goes out to you as you celebrate her life. God Bless you all during this time.

It´s hard to share "A" memory because there are so many. Marion was such a special person; her love of her family, her love of dogs (hers and everyone else´s) and her love of food! And without doubt, her laugh and the way she crinkled her eyes when she laughed! As her friend I will miss her terribly.

Miss Marion, as we always called her, was a kind, loving and encouraging soul! Things that come to mind when I think of her are her famous chocolate sauce that she made with love and gifted us every Christmas for many years! The lamb cake that she made and many kids decorated at Easter celebrations at the Youel house in Tucson is legendary! Her work and advocacy for the homeless, for animals and for those incarcerated left an impact on the hearts of many! So grateful that the Lord saw fit to have our paths cross so many years ago in Arizona! Miss Marion was a friend to David and I but, also, to our children over the years! She and her amazing spirit will be missed! God bless you REAL GOOD, Miss Marion! With love and prayers from Arizona! David and Bev Klingaman

Marion and I met through our mutal friend and hair dresser, Kaye Sue. Kaye said, "You two must meet; you both love dogs more than anyone I know." And that was the beginning of a long, loving and fun friendship including dogs AS WELL as Hank and Warren. Marion not only loved dogs but people especially those in need. We lost a very good soul from this earth when Marion departed.

Marion would shine her light wherever she went, and whatever she touched. She touched so many lives with her smile and laugh. In fact, as I write this, I can hear her laugh. I have known Marion my entire life, as Hank, Marion, and the Lambert family are great (or BF) friends with my parents, and the Olsen family. I have so many wonderful lifelong memories of Marion that I will hold in my heart, as she was such a beautiful person. My deepest condolences to the entire Lambert family at such a difficult time. Sending my love, hugs, and prayers.

Marion was loving and kind, I didn't know her as well as I'd have liked to... I have great love for her son Jeff, it was because of him I got to enter into her life however brief. She raised a fine man and the best friend a girl can have. My condolences to the entire Lambert family. My prayers are with you in this difficult time.
