I had the privilege of talking with Tex after he had come home from Huntsman. He sounded so upbeat. His voice was strong though he knew his days were numbered. What a joy to know and work with such a wonderful man. Everyone in the DAV will miss his wisdom and perseverance. My prayers go out to Helene and all the rest of the family.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Tex. My husband was the Pockrus' home teacher and I had the privilege of going with him at times. Enjoyed our visits. I send my deepest sympathy to the family. Rae Coombs

My deepest sympathies are extended to the Pockrus family. May the Lord bring you peace in his passing and a firm knowledge that you will see him again some day. I only met Mr. Pockrus once but he seemed full of energy and love to his fellowman. I am certain Carl and the extended family will carry on the great legacy of the Pockrus family name.
