We were so shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of your dear wife and mother. We have many fond memories of our time together in Brandon, Manitoba. We have always said that if there ever was an example of true lady, it was your Marion. Now she is gracing Heaven with her presence. We are so sorry we were unable to attend the memorial service, but our love and prayers are with you.

Dear Dr. Sylvester,
Although we didn't know your lovely wife Marion and the special Mom and Grandma she was, we have had the privilege of getting to know your son, Blaine. May we just say that you and your wife raised your son well as we watch him serve the Lord and his family with all his heart. As you remember your dear wife at this time of what should have been a special anniversary celebration, may it comfort you to know that many are praying for you, your children and grandchildren.
With our sympathy,
Harry, Brenda, Trevor & Stephanie Maekelburger

Condolences to your family from ours. We feel a special connection with you at this time since our own mother (Dorothy Crocker Ruff, wife of Rev. Jess Ruff) passed away just a year ago, also from pancreatic cancer. As descendants of Kindersley, SK families & long time C&MA members, the Sylvester name was a common one in our home. Mrs. Sylvester touched lives in so many circles & will be missed very much. May it comfort you to know that her legacy will live on. We will be remembering you today, as you celebrate the live of your wife and mother, and in the days and months to come.

Dr. Sylvester & Family,
Many condolences from the Richards Family. I have many fond memories of "Mama Sylvester" when you would come to visit us in Invermere. As a single man in ministry at the time, "Mama" was always there with a big hug and some words of wisdom. She was a great woman of God. I will always remember her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mel and Family..
We,missed our patio deck visits as we tended to our flowers when we moved around the corner, but were able to keep an eye on you as we only moved accross the street.
Marion will me missed by all of us in our little complex, but we were better for knowing her.
Sometimes,we have to say"Goodbye" to friends...so that we can one day say "Hello Again"

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your dear wife, mother & grandmother. I know how much you will miss her. I have such fond memories of her and your whole family when we visited together when I was little. I have appreciated the occasions I've had to talk to her in recent years as well. She was such a kind, gracious and loving person. Your marriage was an example of what a Christian marriage should be like. My thoughts and prayers are with you all now and in the days ahead. May you experience God's loving arms of comfort.
