Marjorie Johnson Fayerman

Marjorie Eleanor Johnson Fayerman, age 96, of Jupiter, Florida, formerly of Reading, Pennsylvania and Rochester, New York was born on November 18, 1925 and passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

Marjorie is survived by her Twins; her son, Peter Fayerman and her daughter, Kristine Fayerman Piatt. Also her daughter-in-law, Donna Fayerman of Lake Nona, Florida and son-in-law Thomas Piatt of Boston, MA, Her Three Grandchildren; Karen Piatt Leyland, Neil Piatt, and Lauren Fayerman Hunter, and a Great-Granddaughter, Clara Piatt Leyland, along with her many wonderful friends.

Her "Celebration of Life" is being planned for her birthday in November.

Marjorie was a woman of grace and poise; elegant and stylish. She loved fashion and interior design. She was an avid reader; loved history and historic novels. She traveled the world over and back again. Her favorite place was the Beach, any Beach. The ocean was her sanctuary. She enjoyed swimming, sunbathing and scrabble and loved all flowers, especially tulips. Her home was never without fresh tulips. Marjorie was a great supporter of the arts and as a historian she has supported the Smithsonian Institute. She especially loved 18th century furniture and accessories and designed and created a lamp and candlestick Gift Division that she Directed for 30 years in the Family Company, Baldwin Hardware Corporation.

Marjorie is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology. After college, In her career beginnings, Marjorie worked in a Department Store as a Buyer of woman's handbags, scarfs, and accessories. Always with a scarf, red lipstick and a pearl necklace; these were her "signature pieces".

Marjorie was a strong woman of distinction who was proud of her Education, her business Career, her impeccable Home, her Twins and her loving Family.

She will be greatly missed and wonderfully remembered.
