Marjorie A. Haley, born November 7, 1931 passed away Wednesday January 23, 2008.
She was employed with Prudential Insurance Company and J.C. Penney Company. She graduated from Halifax High School and Central Pennsylvania Business School.
She was a member of the Susquehanna Valley Evangelical Free Church, where she served as Deaconess and was in numerous church activities. She sang with the El Shaddai Singers and was an active member of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Frank E.; two daughters, Marilyn E. Shade and her husband Michael of Reading, Barbara J. Shreve and her husband Randy of Nashville, TN; a sister, Jane W. Kohn of Harrisburg; and a granddaughter, Morgan R. Shade of Reading.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Saturday January 26, 2008 in her church, 6433 Union Deposit Road, Harrisburg, officiated by the Rev. Joseph Yunik and Rev. Richard Hennett. Burial will be in Shoops Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Susquehanna Valley Evangelical Free Church, 6433 Union Deposit Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111 or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 119 Aster Dr., Suite 103, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
