Marjorie R. Maree

Marjorie R. Maree, 77, a lifelong resident of Milanville, PA passed away peacefully on May 10, 2018 at Julia Ribaudo Senior Care Center, Lake Ariel, PA.
Marjorie, the daughter of the late Silas and Gladys Wood Freiermuth, she was born in Atco, PA on February 21, 1941.
Marjorie was the widow of Cornelis Maree, who had passed away in 2001.
She attended the Free Methodist Church of South Cannon, PA and Beach Lake, PA.
A family statement reads, "Mom was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
"Every week dinner with the family was a special event, she truly enjoyed being with her family.
"She traveled many place with her husband, they enjoyed camping. She was an avid card player.
"She loved stuffed animals.
"She will truly be missed by everyone."
Marjorie is survived by her daughter: Donna Dexter and her husband Mark of Milanville, PA, her five sons: Darin Maree and his wife Leona of Honesdale, PA, Tony Maree and his wife Sheba of North Carolina, Dale Maree and his wife Kris of North Carolina, Wayne Maree and his wife Brenda of Smallwood, NY, Warren Maree and his wife Tonya of Honesdale, PA, eleven grandchildren: Corey Dexter and his wife Evelyn of Beach Lake, PA, Crystal Dexter of Scranton, PA, Shannen Maree of Lake Ariel, PA, Ryan Maree of Honesdale, PA, Cassidy Maree of North Carolina, Amanda Maree of North Carolina, Jacquelyn Maree of Lake Huntington, NY, Carlie Bassney and her husband Adam of Cochecton, NY, Wayne Maree Jr. Of Utah, Clifford Maree of Honesdale, PA, Spencer Pier of Honesdale, PA, eighteen great grandchildren, two sisters: Marlene Duda and her husband George of Beach Lake, PA, Marilyn "Snooky" Dailey of Boyd Mills, PA, sister in law Marilyn Freiermiuth of Beach Lake, PA. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marjorie is predeceased by her husband Cornelis, and her brother Marvin Freiermuth.
Friend are invited to call on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5:00Pm to 8:00Pm and Friday, May 18, 2018 from 10:30am to 11:30Am at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 90 Main St. Narrowsburg, NY 12764.
Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:30Am, Rev William Rushik will officiate.
Cremation at Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA will follow services.
