SCHIFF, Marjorie (Frauenglas) "Mitzi" Marjorie (Frauenglas) Schiff, passed away at 3:10 AM on Tuesday (May 13, 2008), surrounded by family. Marjorie, known as Mitzi, born March 24, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY, to Harry and Fannie (Frances) Frauenglas, was the beloved wife of the late Allan Schiff, adored mother of Dr. Laurence Schiff and his wife Virna of Kingman, AZ, Dr. Michael Schiff and his wife Judy of Ponca City, OK and Heidi Friedland of Simsbury. She was grandmother of nine, Philip, Harris, Zachary, Rosina, Erica, Stephen, Jordan, Timothy and Brian; beloved sister of the late Seymour Frauenglas and aunt and godmother of his son Robert. Funeral Services will be held at Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford at 9 a.m., to be followed by interment at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Queens, NY.
