**Obituary**

Marjorie Elaine "Marge" Ward, born Marjorie Elaine Janes on November 11, 1937, in Fort Monmouth, NJ, passed away on May 5, 2024, in Torrance, California, at the age of 86.

Marge was known for her outgoing personality and her love for her community. She is survived by her children Melody (Gabriel) Casillas, Deanna Green, Raymond Ward, Norma (John) Popp, and Duane Ward. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many "adopted" grandchildren. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Frank David Ashley Ward, her daughter Sheryl Ward, her son Timothy Ward, her brothers Henry, LeRoy, and Myron Janes, and her sister Patricia Inderrieden.

Marge found joy in participating in the Carson High School Booster Club, where she was the secretary. She was a constant presence at the high school's sports and extra-curricular events, and enjoyed raising funds for the school. She was a faithful member of Mission Ebenezer Family Church in Carson, CA, where services will be held on May 30, 2024, at 10:00 am.

Marge's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
