We don't move on from loved ones we've lost. We move forward with them always in our hearts, all around us, in who we are, and in all that we do in life Mark, I still miss you so. I can't believe it's been 7 years

Sometimes grief is a friend you wish you didn't know but that you have to spend time with because Love brought them along to the party. And the party was worth it.

It's been 6 years brudder, I still miss you so❤ Love, Rie

I cannot believe it's been 5 years since my brother, my best friend Mark passed away I've never been one who could put my feelings into words. My mind still talks to him and my heart still looks for him. But my soul knows he is at peace. Grief comes in waves. It's like the ocean, sometimes it's calm, and other times the current is so strong it sweeps you off your feet. They say time heals, but I believe we just get stronger. I still miss you so very much brother

Dear Brudder,
I can't believe you have been gone for a year. I still miss you so very much. When I am feeling sad, I bring up a memory of being with you. No matter which memory, sailing , camping, riding bikes at Put In Bay (you know how that turned out), going to El Matidor and being thrown into a snowy bush, being on vacation and you asking every 30 minutes "wanna go for a boat ride?", a smile comes to my face. Thank you for all the great memories. Your life was way to short however, you lived it to the fullest. I will always miss you and forever love you. Rie

Mark,

It was just last summer this song was playing and you told me shhhhh, listen! "You don't need fancy things, just the simple things", and started singing the lyrics.

This tin chalice is for you. All we need, are those we love.

Touch of the Tiller

Oh that wooden tiller, oiled with such attentiveness to be the tool to guide me to my destination

Do you feel the pull

Do you feel the control

Do you take in that deep breath of release

I do

Do you feel the tiller

I do

Dear Alex and family, The boat has left the dock. :( But Mark will sail and live on through the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will meet again! I have only known Mark for a few short years through Jolly Rogers, his smiles and mere presence brightened the room! Speaking to all, wether he knew you or not. He will be greatly missed by all. Sincerely , Bonnie Halter

The Weiss Family. I was so sorry to read of Mark's passing. I was Mark's union rep for years and he was not only a great and caring guy but one of my best union stewards. He cared so much about the people he represented and was a wonderful mentor to all the younger workers ..what a terrible loss for your family and everyone who Mark's life touched. I am humbled that I was one of those people
God bless you all. Karen McHue

"Fun" the last word I heard you share. Good advice.
These things are forever and I feel awkward, what to write...from my soul, what I know to be true

MAWs, Deb, I truly hurt for you but am comforted that you won't ever be alone and when the time is right, Mark will already be there for you with the right wine at the right temp and steaks on the grill. and in those two fine young men, we will see Mark each day.

When the breeze blows off the lake and the waves come washing ashore, I know that Mark is out there somewhere catching the wind. Be comforted to know that Mark has put in at the greatest port of all and rests in Jesus loving arms. Debbie, I am so sorry for your loss.
