So sorry to hear of the loss of Mark. Just take one day at a time. Cry and talk when you need to. Cherish and continue sharing your memories which will keep him close to your heart. I lost my husband 8 years ago and seems like yesterday. Still have lots of tears but that's how I get through some days. I also have lots of great memories that I love talking about. Love you Marsha and just remember there is no right or wrong way of getting through your loss or a time limit. Blessed to have a wonderful family being there for each other. Big hugs to you all.

Where to begin!! Mark was like a 2nd dad to me. He was like a grizzly bear on the outside and a cuddly bear on the inside! Just his look would let you know you needed to straighten up but when you managed to make him smile, you would feel so special. He was hard working and when I was over it was no exception. If they were doing something, I was helping. The good job always made you feel proud! I will certainly miss you Mark. Im so glad I got to grow up around such an amazing man and to see the love you had for your family and me. Thanks for always welcoming me into the family with open arms.

So sorry to hear of Marks passing. He was a fellow Bakken cousin, slightly older than me. I grew up on the Bakken farm so we often hosted family picnics when we were kids. I have heard Mark still remembered those great times. I am certain you all have shared similar great memories with Mark. May they give you peace and joy and one day even laughter. Know we are all thinking of you.

Mark was a year behind me at Rolette Elementary and High School. He was one of the first people to take me for a ride on a snowmobile. The first time I got on the sled, behind Mark, he revved the engine and flipped me off the back onto my tailbone. I can still feel it. A few days later he was limping around - he'd done the same thing to himself. Growing up in a small town has so many great memories and we knew each-other well. We send our prayers and blessings to Mark's family.
