To the Bonsignore Family & Friends:

Though my time with Mark was limited, I valued the moments we shared at the gym. Around 2pm each day, I looked forward to seeing Mark, saying hello, sharing a quick gesture, a smile, and then on with our workouts. I thank God for the treasured time we shared. It was indeed a privilege to know Mark and call him my gym buddy.

My sincere condolences, deepest sympathy and prayers are with you.
May the light of Mark's memories live on in your hearts.

God Bless You.

Mark and I were high school friends, and over the years, he remained one of the most genuine and supportive people I´ve ever known. He had this way of making everyone feel seen and valued, and I was no exception. At every class gathering-whether it was a casual meet-up or a milestone reunion-Mark would always make a point to ask me how I was doing. His questions weren´t just polite small talk; they were thoughtful and sincere. He´d listen intently, his sharp eyes focused on me, and then he´d congratulate me on my successes, no matter how big or small.

At our 50th Reunion, Mark was as warm and encouraging as ever. He asked me what I´d been up to, and when I shared my journey as a teacher, DJ, and author, his face lit up with pride. He told me how inspiring it was to see someone pursue so many passions and make a difference in so many lives. Ironically, he was the one who pursued passions and made differences in the lives he helped and the lives of his family, especially his grandchildren, when, for example, he made it a point to try and get to every one of their soccer games.

His words weren´t just flattery-they were heartfelt, and they stayed with me long after a gathering.

Mark´s friendliness and encouragement were constants in my life, even as the years passed. He had this unique ability to lift people, to make them feel like they mattered. That´s why his death hit me so hard. The joy he brought to every room, the way he made everyone feel like they were the most important person in the world-it´s something I´ll never forget.

Losing Mark felt like losing a piece of my past and a beacon of light in the present. He was more than just a high school friend; he was a reminder of the goodness in people, of the power of kindness and encouragement. Even now, I find myself thinking about the way he´d smile when he congratulated me, the way he´d lean in to listen like what I was saying truly mattered.

Mark Bonsignorne was one of a kind, and I´ll always cherish those memories. His legacy isn´t just the lives he touched through his work-it was in the way he made people feel, the way he made me feel. And for that, I´ll always be grateful.

In my third novel, I will be using him as a character who owns a detective agency. It is a simple way of honoring his influence on so many.

Another Great one gone, another DWI victim...so Sad.

I worked with Mark for over 27 years IPD
I remember during his first year he was shot in the leg. I am most of our officers visited him in the hospital. Poor Beth, I bet she wondered if Mark made the right job choice. He sure did!!

I retired in 2002 and after a week mark called me to come back to the PD and work Part Time inside.
I joked with him about my being called back.. I said
"You try to leave and they Call you back in" like the MOB.. we got a laugh about that.

I hope Beth and the the Family will try and remember all of the good times they had with Mark.
I am sure they only had many happy memories of Marks life, his growing up and the 44 Years he and Beth shared.

I am sure Mark is up in Heaven looking down on all of his family and all of the
Men and Women in Blue.

My prayers to Beth and Family.
Mark will be missed

Mark and Beth became favorite customers at House at Gatewood, sitting at the bar every Friday at 5 pm. From there the whole family became friends. Mark always greeted me with "Hi Sweetie" and a kiss on the cheek. He always said goodbye with "Love you". He always had a Tito´s and soda with a lime. I will miss these little things. I pray for his family that they find peace after this huge loss. Mark was one of a kind.

To the entire Bonsignore family,

Your Husband, Dad, Brother, Grandpa, Brother in law and fellow Police Officer was a true gentleman. I knew Mark from out Bishop Kearney days really getting to know him on the summer work program. I knew immediately that Mark was a great person when being a Senior he treated me like an equal, when I was a freshman. I knew then that this guy was destined for success in future endeavors. Well, fast forward few years and we were both Police Officers and worked together a few times. The entire family can be proud of this man. He was honest, straightforward, hardworking and an asset to the Police profession. Rest in Peace Mark.....

When you were with Mark, you were with someone who radiated joy. He had an infectious personality who was always kind and welcoming to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

I knew Mark well in our four years together playing in the Bishop Kearney High School band and then worked on a construction crew at Kodak with him for three summers while in college.

Whatever antics were happening, you knew Mark was in the middle of it and keeping us all amused.

Those were wonderful years with so many memories. His sudden passing has been difficult to accept.

I last saw him a few years ago at our 50th high school reunion and had the opportunity to tell him how much I appreciated his friendship.

May God bless Mark and give consolation to his family and so many friends.
